We obtained this certification to build a safety management system and take the initiative to promote continuous health and safety management to prevent workplace accidents and promote worker health. ECOVADIS

EcoVadis assesses and rates more than 100,000 companies in 200 industries and 175 countries around the world on corporate policy, measures, and performance in the four areas “Environment”, “Labor & Human Rights”, “Ethics”, and “Sustainable Procurement”.
Our initiatives were recognized with a “Silver” award, given to companies achieving the top 25% of overall scores.

LWG (currently obtaining certification)

“Leather Working Group” (hereinafter “LWG”), founded in 2005, is a worldwide brand association consisting of three types of companies: leather-related brands, tanners (leather manufacturers), and pharmaceutical manufacturers. To obtain an LWG environmental certification, applicants must meet the following inspection criteria:

(1) Consideration for the environment
(2) Safety in the manufacturing process (no use of prohibited substances)
(3) Safe facilities in factories (appropriate effluent treatment)
(4) Traceability from raw materials to the final stage of the process
Our Yamagata Head Office Factory is scheduled to receive an inspection in the first quarter of 2026.
